CES 2011:
Casinos and dice make way for technology's top international event
What happens in Vegas will definitely not stay in Vegas as the 2011 Consumer Electronic Show sweeps into town January 6-9 with an expected 126,000 attendees and 2,500 or more global technology companies, most showing the latest in consumer technology products and services.
This year's event will showcase products across 15 major categories, including digital imaging, electronic gaming, mobile computers and connected technologies. Major announcements are expected in notebooks, tablet PCs and entertainment and content presentation platforms. The massive exhibits floor will be grouped into 20 more TechZones, each focusing on a specific area of high technology, ranging from wireless mobility to gaming and robotics.
This is Vegas, baby, with a technology twist, and TechnologyGuide will be there in full force to report on the most interesting and relevant technology tools and toys.
