Acer unveiled its Z3 at Computex 2013 this week, an all-in-one desktop running Windows 8. It is targeted at those looking for a mid-range AIO for entertainment and modest computing.

\"AcerThe Z3 will suit those looking for a desktop that can double as a home theater, thanks to its 23-inch IPS display featuring a 1920×1080 resolution and 10-point touch screen. However, it is designed to remain put, not to be toted around the house. DekstopReview found the glossy display offered sharp images with decent contrast and a wide viewing angle.

It comes equipped with two 3-watt Harman Kardon speakers, which Acer maxed out for DTR on the Computex showroom floor. While it is hard to speak to the quality, DTR can confirm they are loud enough. Its chassis is made of a black textured plastic with gray trim and the unit weighs less than 20 pounds. It measures in at 22.3 x 17.3 x 2.1-inches and features an adjustable kick stand on the back of the unit.

The Z3 will come in different configurations with either a third-generation Core i3 or i5 processor and an Intel HD or AMD Radeon 8670A GPU. In terms of storage, users will be able to get up to a 1TB HDD and up to 16GB of DDR3 RAM. It houses two USB 2.0 and two USB 3.0 ports, a full-sized HDMI input, an SD card reader, multiple audio jacks, and an Ethernet port; on the front is an HD webcam that can be adjusted 20 degrees.

Acer expects the Z3 to ship this month but has not announced a price as of this writing.
