While the BlackBerry Z10 and its BlackBerry 10 operating system have been available in Canada and parts of Europe for months, the business-minded handset has yet to ship in the US. That will change this Monday however, at least for T-Mobile business customers who were able to pre-order the handset back on February 11.
The Z10 won’t ship until later in the week, but will likely arrive to T-Mobile business customers before anyone else. T-Mobile claims it will announce general availability at a later date, while rumors peg March 22 as the AT&T launch date. According to TG sister site Brighthand, Verizon will also be getting the Z10 this month, while Sprint plans to not carry this device, but instead focus on the upcoming Q10 handset.
The Z10 for T-Mobile business customers will cost $249.99 with a two-year agreement. Pricing for regular customers and other carriers has not been announced. But, from comments made by BlackBerry CEO Thorsten Heins, we know it won’t be $50.
