Dell has announced the Latitude 3330, a 13.3-inch notebook aimed at businesses, schools, and students operating on tight budgets. It will feature an Intel Core i5 processor, 2GB of RAM, a 720p HD webcam, 1,366 x 768 display, and a 128GB hard drive; appealing to those in need of a machine for basic web browsing, homework, and basic-to-moderate computing functions.
Along with the notebook, Dell announced a transportable docking station that will allow businesses and schools to store up to 30 Latitude 3300 notebooks at once. The Dell Mobile Computing cart will feature storage and docking stations, as well as an option for remote management by IT departments.
The Latitude 3330 will be available later this month with pricing starting at $419. The Dell Mobile Computing cart will come in two configurations, with the unmanaged version starting at $1899.99 and the managed version retailing for $2799.99.
