Dish has announced that passengers aboard certain Southwest flights will have the opportunity to borrow an iPad 2 for the flight.
It comes as part of the company’s “TV Flies Free” promotion, which offers free access to live TV and 75 on-demand shows. Passengers of select flights will be able to borrow an iPad 2 from the Dish sponsored lending libraries in select airports.
Participation is currently limited to Southwest flights between the Chicago-Midway, Denver, and Oakland airports. Passengers on flights to and from these locations will be able to borrow an iPad 2 at departure and return it upon arrival. Those visiting the three participating locations will also be entered for a chance to win an iPad 2.
Users with their own internet connected device will also have access to the free content on the qualifying flights.
