Google Chromecast now features support for Pandora, letting users stream the radio application through their TV, and by extension, any home theater audio equipment. The Chromecast is Google’s $35 media streamer that competes with other more established set-top streaming boxes such as Roku and Apple TV.
Pandora released an app update for Android and iOS users that includes the Cast button. The Cast button allows users to instantly stream content straight to their TV via the Chromecast media streamer. Pandora joins the list of growing Chromecast apps, which already includes Hulu Plus, Netflix, Google Play Movies, and YouTube.
The app update is available today for Android smartphones and tablets as well as for the iPhone. Google states that support for the iPad will follow shortly.
