It’s hard to picture someone using a 55-inch all-in-one PC at a desk, but in a classroom or conference room, it’s a little more imaginable. Those are exactly the situations for the InFocus BigTouch.
The company announced today the launch of its newest product, the BigTouch 55-inch all-in-one touchscreen Windows 8 PC. The device features a 55-inch, 1080p display, Core i5 Sandy Bridge Processor and 120GB SSD.
The BigTouch is designed for use in spaces where multiple people will need access to the device at once, meaning it’s tailored to be used in places like classrooms, office lobbies and business conference rooms.
Because it has been built for business purposes, the BigTouch comes with more ports and jacks than the average all-in-one and includes six USB ports, two HDMI sockets and even two gigabit Ethernet jacks. The device also supports Windows 8 touchscreen gestures and Wi-Fi connectivity.
The BigTouch is available for a hefty sum of $4,999 at authorized InFocus resellers.
