Apart from its E3 streaming video conference, Nintendo showed off footage from The Legend of Zelda, A Link Between Worlds; a sequel to the popular 1992 Super NES Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.
The trailer reveals gameplay similar to the classic Zelda, with the player view as top-down. Sound effects are reminiscent of the 1992 classic with some added features, such as Link’s ability to become 2D. Some of the maps also appear to be revamped versions of the original game worlds.
The Legend of Zelda, A link Between Worlds will be available for the Nintendo 3DS this fall.
