Panasonic has officially announced availability for its inaugural line of streaming media players, unveiled last month at the International Consumer Electronics Show, entering a market already crowded with devices like the Roku lineup and Boxee TV.
The MST60 is capable of streaming 3D and can turn any TV into a Smart TV via the VIERA Connect platform, which allows users access to internet-based video content and applications. It also features 2D-3D conversion and Miracast, which allows users to transfer content from their smartphone or tablet to their HDTV.
The MS10 model comes equipped with built-in Wi-Fi and gives users access to IP VOD, allowing them to stream content from apps like Netflix and Vudu. Both models feature HDD Playback.
