Sony has released a video teasing the upcoming PlayStation 4, which the company didn\’t showcase at its most recent unveiling event in February. Now, it seems the physical console will finally be shown off on June 10 at 6 p.m. pacific time, which aligns with the company’s press conference at E3.
While the PlayStation 4 was officially announced in February, the physical console was not displayed and many questions lingered after the event. So why the teaser video now? Well, Sony isn’t the only company set to release a new gaming console and rumors and excitement for an upcoming Microsoft Xbox have been ramping up. With the next Xbox set to be revealed on May 21, Sony may just be trying to steal some of Microsoft’s thunder.
