Target Paying $200 for Old iPads, Even First-Gen iPads

by Reads (312)

Target is offering customers a gift card of at least $200 if they trade in a used iPad, including the first-generation iPad.

iPad AirNormally, Target offers around $65 for a 16 GB first-generation iPad that is in working order and $145 for a 16 GB iPad mini. Trade-in units must be fully functional, meaning the iPad turns on, and the device can’t have any scratches on the display.

The offer will allow even first-generation iPad owners to trade up to the new iPad Air for as low as $279, rather than the current sale price of $479. Customers are not required to upgrade to a new iPad and the gift card can be used towards an online or in-store purchase at any Target location.

iPad owners can head to any Target store between now and November 9 to cash in on the deal.
