Vizio has introduced Co-Star LT, a streaming device similar to a Roku.

The Co-Star LT is the successor to the Co-Star Stream Player Vizio introduced last year, but  the LT comes without the Google TV experience. The Co-Star LT features 1080p Full HD, 3D technology, and support for HTML5 apps. Available apps include Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, Hulu Plus, iHeartRadio, M-Go, YouTube, Vudu, and more. The device also features a USB port that allows users to play content from a mobile device.

Utilizing Vizio’s Internet Apps Plus platform, users are able to view their Co-Star LT apps while also watching live TV. Users can also connect their mobile device so that it will act as a second screen, with the ability to switch back and forth from HDTV to the mobile device.

The device is available now for $80, which is less than to the $100 price points of Apple TV and the Roku 3, but in line with Roku\’s new mid-range lineup.
