The new BlackBerry 10 operating system may have been the big news to emerge from BlackBerry’s world-wide unveiling in New York, but the Q10 handset just about stole the show. Unlike the flagship Z10, the BlackBerry Q10 retains the iconic BlackBerry Bold design and combines a full touch-screen with a physical QWERTY keyboard. This makes the Q10 a likely favorite among the dedicated BlackBerry holdouts, and may offer enough to win back older BlackBerry defectors, struggling to bang out messages on the touchscreens of the iPhone and Android handsets.
In fact, the Q10 has the potential to carve out a niche as the best smartphone with a full QWERTY when it launches in April, as most Android models with physical keyboards are either old or under-powered. To that end, the Q10 sports the exact same internal specs as the BlackBerry Z10, including a 1.5GHz dual-core processor and 2GB of RAM. Find out what else it is sporting in this full hands-on video report.
